How to Add Discounts (Percentage Off, Dollar Off, BOGO, Free Delivery

You can configure discount codes, automatic discounts, time-based discounts, BOGOs and more with YourMenu!
Want to track your discount codes' performance?  Once you create your discount, a unique Tracking Link and QR code will be generated and displayed on the Edit Discount page.  You can Download the QR code or right click the Tracking Link and click Copy Link.  Use these QR codes and Tracking Links on your promotional material for the discount to track clicks and redemptions!



To add a Discount that requires a code:
  1. On the YourMenu dashboard, go to Discounts
  2. Click Create New Discount
  3. Type a Name for the discount
  4. For Type select Fixed
  5. Enter the Code you want customers to have to type at checkout
  6. At the bottom, under Fixed Discount, set the Type and the Amount
  7. Optional: Fill out additional fields like Expiration, Minimum Order, Maximum Discount, and Uses to further configure your discount
  8. Click Create New Discount
  9. Optional: You can add Schedules, Categories, and Items to the discount to restrict when and what customers can use the discount on.

To add an Automatic Discount that doesn't require a code:
  1. On the YourMenu dashboard, go to Discounts
  2. Click Create New Discount
  3. Type a Name for the discount
  4. For Type select Fixed
  5. Check the box that says No code required
  6. At the bottom, under Fixed Discount, set the Type and the Amount
  7. Optional: Fill out additional fields like Expiration, Minimum Order, Maximum Discount, and Uses to further configure your discount
  8. Click Create New Discount
  9. Optional: You can add Schedules, Categories, and Items to the discount to restrict when and what customers can use the discount on.

To add a Discount on delivery fees:
  1. On the YourMenu dashboard, go to Discounts
  2. Click Create New Discount
  3. Type a Name for the discount
  4. For Type select Delivery
  5. If you want to require a Code please enter one.  Or else, check the box that says No code required
  6. At the bottom, under Fixed Discount, set the Type and the Amount
  7. Optional: Fill out additional fields like Expiration, Minimum Order, Maximum Discount, and Uses to further configure your discount
  8. Click Create New Discount
  9. Optional: You can add Schedules, Categories, and Items to the discount to restrict when and what customers can use the discount on.

To add a BOGO Discount:
  1. On the YourMenu dashboard, go to Discounts
  2. Click Create New Discount
  3. Type a Name for the discount
  4. For Type select BOGO
  5. If you want to require a Code please enter one.  Or else, check the box that says No code required
  6. Click Create New Discount
  7. Scroll down and enter the Items or Categories the discount applies to
  8. Optional: Fill out additional fields like Expiration, Minimum Order, Maximum Discount, and Uses to further configure your discount.
  9. Optional: Add a Schedule to the discount
  10. Click Save
