How to Add a Schedule to Items and Categories (Time-Based Availability)

With YourMenu, you can add special schedules to your Categories or Items so guests can only order them at specified times.  When a Special Schedule is added to a Category or Item, the guests must select an order time that fits the Special Schedules guidelines!  This is great for holiday specials & daily specials like happy hour.

1.  On the YourMenu dashboard, go to Schedules

2.  Click Create New Schedule

3.  Give the schedule a Name so you can reference it later when adding it to Categories or Items

      A.  For Date Based Schedules (i.e. Christmas Dinner, Super Bowl Sunday)

            1. Enable Special Schedule
            2.  Select the Start Date & End Date
            3.  For the Start and End time, please select the business opening time and closing time, unless the schedule ends earlier than the business closes

      B.  For Date Based Schedules (i.e. Christmas Dinner, Super Bowl Sunday)

            1.  Select the Day of the week
            2.  Select the Start time and End time

7.  Click Create New Schedule

8.  To add the schedule to an Item or Category, head to Menu > Item or Category

9.  Click the pencil symbol to edit the Category or Item

10.  Scroll down to Schedules, and type in the name of the Schedule you just created to the Add Schedule search bar

11.  Select the appropriate Schedule(s) to add it

12.  Click Save
